Step Up Be A Voice, founded in 2014 by Krish Dhokia, is a global movement using fitness to raise awareness and advocate for children battling cancer. From 100 climbs in 90 days to 1,000 miles in 180 days, we unite communities to take action, inspire hope, and build a world-changing heart culture where compassion fuels change and no child fights alone.
Our mission is to inspire and mobilize individuals to use their time, energy, and passions to create awareness and drive change for children facing cancer. Through fitness challenges, community events, and powerful storytelling, we give a voice to the voiceless, fund vital research, and rally support networks that provide strength, love, and hope to families in their hardest battles.
We envision a world where every child battling cancer receives the care, love, and resources they deserve—and where communities worldwide lead with empathy and action. By uniting fitness, advocacy, and storytelling, Step Up Be A Voice aims to transform awareness into lasting change, creating a culture where the fight against pediatric cancer is shared, supported, and ultimately, won.
Step Up Be A Voice is more than a movement—it’s a call to action for every person with a heartbeat and a desire to make a difference. Founded in 2014 by Krish Dhokia, Step Up Be A Voice was born from a simple yet powerful idea: use fitness as a catalyst to create awareness, inspire hope, and advocate for children battling cancer. It began with one man’s commitment to turn personal grit into global good, and it has since grown into a community-driven force for change.
The journey started in 2014 with the First 100 Climbs in 90 Days challenge at Stone Mountain, Georgia. Each climb represented determination, awareness, and solidarity with kids who fight battles far tougher than any mountain. Following that milestone, the mission expanded with 1000 Miles in 180 Days—250 miles each of biking, hiking, kayaking, and running—pushing the limits of endurance to spotlight the urgent need for pediatric cancer research and support for affected families.
In 2015, the Second Annual 100 Climbs in 90 Days brought the movement to new heights—literally. This time, hundreds of people joined Krish on the mountain, each climbing for a reason: a child they loved, a sibling they missed, or a friend still fighting. These climbs became living symbols of resilience, love, and the unbreakable human spirit.
Today, Step Up Be A Voice continues to grow into what we call a World-Changing Heart Culture—a global network of people who lead with empathy, act with courage, and believe that small steps can create massive impact. We advocate for children who are fighting battles most of us can’t imagine, give a platform to their stories, and raise funds to support life-saving research and family assistance programs.
But this isn’t just our movement—it’s yours. Whether you run marathons or take short walks, whether you can donate time, energy, or resources, you can be a voice for the voiceless. Together, we can climb every mountain, cross every finish line, and fight every fight until no child battles cancer alone.
Join us. Step up. Be a voice. Change the world—one step, one mile, one act of love at a time.
